The Rockem’ Experience is an action-packed, fun-filled summer camp designed to empower youth by helping them discover who they are and what they’re capable of becoming.
Through the game of basketball, campers develop essential life-long skills including communication, teamwork, listening comprehension, leadership, discipline, and social awareness. Basketball serves as the vehicle — but the lessons extend far beyond the court.
Participants learn that success is built through a balance of focus, consistency, effort, and joy. They are challenged to work hard, support one another, and take pride in growth — not just performance.
The mission of the DJ Rowell Foundation team is to create an environment where physical activity is engaging and meaningful, while instilling values that shape confidence, character, and purpose. Our goal is for each camper to leave with a stronger sense of identity, a belief in their potential, and the tools to show up as the best version of themselves — on the court, in the classroom, and in life.
